No open choice of new grave types
At Grunewald-Forst Cemetery, burials take place only in graves with an existing right of use. A general list of freely available new grave types would therefore be misleading.
Clarify before a burial
- Does the specific grave still have a valid right of use?
- Who may decide on a further burial?
- Which resting and usage periods apply?
- Which design and maintenance rules apply?
- Where can a funeral ceremony be held?
No ceremonial hall on site
A funeral ceremony cannot be held on the cemetery grounds. Coordinate the date and an external venue early with the cemetery administration.
